Sandy
Lead Pet Care Tech
Sandy’s the kind of person who makes shy dogs feel seen and sensitive pets feel safe. She started her journey at a dog wash — elbow-deep in bubbles and wagging tails — and quickly realized that caring for animals wasn’t just fun, it was fulfilling. Now, with years of experience and a heart full of purpose, she’s one of our go-to pros for behavior-savvy, heart-led care.
She’s CPR and Pet First Aid certified, trained in reading canine body language, and especially gifted with reactive dogs and nervous pups. Sandy shines in the quiet wins — when a dog who once barked at the door now wags when she walks in, or when a cat finally chooses her lap. Her approach is patient, respectful, and grounded in deep empathy.
What sets Sandy apart is how she holds space for pets to open up on their terms. She believes in giving animals the time, structure, and kindness they need to build trust — and she never rushes that process. She’s also passionate about sharing her knowledge, helping pet parents and teammates better understand the animals they love.
Outside of visits, Sandy’s probably enjoying time with her own pets or sending the team a voice note about something sweet a reactive dog did that day. For her, this work is about making every blink of a pet’s life count.
