Since then, she’s made it her mission to create safe, respectful, and connection-filled experiences for every animal she cares for.

At Paws Around Motown, Nia is known for her thoughtful reads on body language and her ability to step in before tension ever escalates. She’s trained in dog behavior, wellness observation, and safe handling, and she has a special love for our feline clients (who, according to her, just want your attention and a little respect).

Nia’s superpower? Spotting the subtle signs. Whether she’s managing a multi-pet home or supporting a nervous animal, she brings steadiness, compassion, and a whole lot of love to the moment. She believes pet care should always be kind, attentive, and grounded in trust — because that’s what every pet (and person) deserves.

When she’s not out on visits, you’ll probably find her cuddled up with a cat who never liked people until Nia showed up.
