Pet Care Technician (Entry-Level with Growth Path)

Company Overview

At Paws Around Motown, we’re more than just dog walkers and pet sitters — we’re behavior nerds, enrichment geeks, and the kind of people who leave love notes in your pet’s report. We care hard, work smart, and lead with heart every single day.

From structured Sniffaris to behind-the-scenes behavior notes, we treat this work like the calling it is. Our team is joyful, compassionate, detail-loving, and fiercely professional. We cheer for each other. We laugh a lot. We take pride in doing things the right way — not the easy way.

If you’re looking for a place where your ideas matter, your growth is supported, and every tailwag feels like a win — you’ve found your people.

Job Summary

We’re hiring a part-time Pet Care Technician who’s ready to grow roots with us. This role is ideal for someone pivoting from another field — especially with leadership or customer service experience — who’s looking to build a purpose-filled career in pet care.

From there, you’ll progress through our certification track, gaining hands-on training in behavior, enrichment, and leadership. This isn’t a gig — it’s a long-term growth path.
