Caroline brings a warm, grounded presence to every visit. With years of experience in both pet care and early childhood education, she understands what it means to care with patience, empathy, and structure — whether she’s working with a shy pup or a house full of excitable pets.

At Paws Around Motown, Caroline shines when it comes to thoughtful routines and attention to detail. She’s the one who remembers that your cat likes her food stirred, or that your pup needs an extra pause before crossing the street. She believes great pet care is about trust and communication — and her visit reports are just as thoughtful as her time in your home.

She’s Pet Care Certified, Pet First Aid & CPR certified, and trained in enrichment-based care. She’s especially skilled with senior pets, multi-pet homes, and animals with medical needs — including administering insulin to diabetic cats (a skill she’s rightly proud of). Caroline’s background in humane education also informs her philosophy: every interaction should be as positive, choice-based, and respectful as possible.

When she’s not walking dogs or prepping enrichment toys, Caroline is probably reading something nerdy, volunteering with rescue organizations, or spending time with her own beloved crew: a senior terrier mix and a very bossy cat.
